Brilliant Harvest is proud to sponsor the 15th Annual Sustainable Communities Workshop

Sustainable Communities Workshop

At Brilliant Harvest, we aren’t in the solar energy business solely to make money – we are honestly and earnestly working to forge new paths to sustainability and protect the environment for this and future generations. One way we work toward these goals is to support programs and events that align with our commitment to renewable energy and a sustainable future, and to try to inspire others to join us in the battle against climate change.

We are proud to be a Silver Sponsor of Sarasota County’s 15th annual Sustainable Communities Workshop, “Transforming to New Ways Forward,” which will bring the community together (safely, virtually) to discuss sustainability priorities. Previously held as an in-person event, the workshop has transitioned to an online, webinar platform for enhanced safety and access.

(As a side note: We are pleased to be installing solar on the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Support Services Facility – this will be the largest solar system Sarasota County has installed to-date.)

Expert speakers will include Dr. Leyla Acaroglu, Dr. Cheryl Holder, Alice Hill, Leonardo Martinez-Diaz, and many others, who will provide up-to-date information on sustainability topics such as climate disruption as it relates to social equity and health, circular economy, biophilia, environmental justice, innovations in recycling and waste management, and so much more.

Attendees can participate in virtual breakout sessions and network with businesses and community groups to help build a better future for our community and transform to a new way forward. Make sure to visit the Brilliant Harvest virtual sponsor booth during one of the breaks as well. Hope to “see” you there!

Takes place on Thursday, October 29, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost: $10 ($5 students)
