Key capabilities of the Tesla Powerwall

Brilliant Harvest, LLC is proud to announce that it is an official Tesla Energy Certified Installer, meaning we are now able to procure and install the revolutionary Tesla Powerwall home battery in homes and businesses throughout our region.
We’d like to explain here the key capabilities of the Tesla Powerwall:
Backup Power: When the grid goes down, the Powerwall provides power to “protected loads” that you choose to remain energized during a power outage. Electrical loads like refrigerators, lights, fans, and computer and TV equipment are common to back up using the Powerwall. Brilliant Harvest will work with you to select which electrical circuits will be protected by the Powerwall, and have them rewired to a specific “protected loads” electrical panel.
Solar Self-Consumption: Instead of sending solar energy back to the grid, your Powerwall can charge during the day when the sun is up and send power to your home at night, minimizing the overall use of power from the grid.
Load Shifting: In cases where electricity prices vary during the day (known as “time of use” rates), the Tesla Powerwall can store energy when it’s less expensive, and release energy when it’s more expensive. This can help you save even more on your monthly electric bill.
Peak Demand Shaving: Commercial users of electricity often pay a “demand” fee on their monthly electric bill. Demand fees are based on the rate at which energy is consumed and calculated on the peak electrical demand for the month in question, as measured in 15-minute increments during the month. The Tesla Powerwall can reduce peak demand by releasing energy to offset peak demand and reducing the rate at which energy is used from the grid, thus reducing demand charges, sometimes dramatically.
