Brilliant Harvest founder and president Bill Johnson moved to Sarasota in 1975, and has lived in Sarasota most of his life. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Emory University, his Master of Science in Physics from the University of South Florida Tampa, and his Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship / Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Florida.
Bill is a graduate of the Leadership Sarasota County program (2005). He is active throughout the community – he has served as the chairman of the board for The Florida Center for Early Childhood (2005-2012) and served on the boards of the Crowley Museum and Nature Center (2006-2010) and the Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy (2009-present). He is also the current President of the Pine View Foundation.
Caring for the environment is a family affair: Bill’s wife, Christine, is the president of the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast. The couple has two children.
